I wrote a book!

Following my passion of helping others decode their ADHD journey, I've recently put pen to paper and the result is a ClusterF#ck!

Support your local independent bookstore by asking for them to order it for you in-store or through Underground Books (https://www.theundergroundbookstore.nz/Clusterfck-p643498675)

It is also often on Trade Me (the cheapest option) or you can buy it on Amazon below.

About Me

Being a registered Occupational Therapist who has ADHD myself gives me a personal understanding of how challenging everyday activities can be for our brains as well as how subtle this can look to others.

I use my existing skills in coaching and assessment navigation to help others with ADHD. Joining Beehyve has allowed me to focus my time offering support through Assessments.

To hear how others have put my services to use, see the testimonials page HERE.

My Values

Adult ADHD can be more subtle to identify - after all we've often spent our lives 'masking' and pretending to be normal - so it gets missed.  A lot.

I started Decoding Me with two main visions:

  1. To help those adults with ADHD (or who think they may have ADHD) to get assessed, navigate the NZ Healthcare system and provide specific ongoing coaching if needed.

  2. Educate others about what ADHD looks like in adults - and how women's symptoms differ from men.  This includes helping those around us better understand not only the challenges but also the strengths.

TESTIMONIAL

"I would highly recommend Rosie to anyone considering taking a DIVA-5 assessment, or wanting to learn more about ADHD in general.

I don’t think I really understood how multifaceted ADHD is and how differently it might present in individuals.  I always knew that I was an non linear thinker and that I found systems and instructions challenging to follow. I just assumed I needed to put in extra time and effort and therefore tried harder. This was sustainable for a period of time but inevitably it would end in feeling exhausted and crashing. I never realised the anxiety and overwhelm that I live with was a symptom of ADHD.

Rosie’s deep understanding of life with ADHD,  meant she was patient when I had trouble articulating answers or went off on tangents to try an explain my experiences.  Rosie was sensitive when sharing the results of the test and clearly explained options and processes available if I chose to get a formal diagnosis.

Rosie suggested ideas, resources and tools that have already proven useful in my understanding of how my brain works and how I can navigate the challenges and optimise the strengths of life with an ADHD brain.

I am very grateful to Rosie for her knowledge, passion, acceptance and support. Her professionalism, warmth and care have been greatly appreciated and I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning more about ADHD and how it may be effecting their life"
